Image of the solar disk taken on March 24, 2024. A huge group of sunspots is located almost in the central part of the solar disk. It is over 10 times the Earth’s diameter. The image was obtained with observation equipment that will be used during the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. A CANON 6D Mark II digital camera and a 1200 mm focal length refractor were used, ISO 800, exp. 1/1600. Our observation team will carry out an observation expedition to observe the eclipse, from the territory of Mexico.
